One of my favorite symbols around the holiday season is definitely gingerbread men! THey are just adorable! Often seen covered in cute candies and icing, it’s hard to not think thay are super cute. Of course they are always a main cookie made around this time of year as well! Along with gingerbread houses which are always a fun afternoon activity to do with your kids. Speaking of kids, crafting is a great way to spend time before Christmas. Keeping them busy and not asking every 5 minutes when Santa is coming is a total win! Some Fun Gingerbread History

Just for fun I thought I would share a little fun information about the history of gingerbread men! Did you know history traces them back to Queen Elizabeth 1, who apparently had her cooks mould the dough into shapes of her favorite courtiers and liked to give these biscuits to VIP guests. Superstition around this time said that if you ate a gingerbread husband it would lead to marriage.
