Snowmen are a rather simple design and can be put together relatively quickly, if you have kids encourage them to help. Allowing them to be creative and showing them the fun side of healthy vegetables would make a great afternoon activity. Check out our ingredient list and directions below for our Snowman Veggie tray. Happy Holidays!

Inspiring Your Snowman Veggie Tray

You can ultimately use any type of vegetables in your Snowman veggie tray. Consider using Broccoli, celery, or even cucumbers to add the festive green touch to your snowman’s hat instead of olives. Use multiple types of peppers: green, yellow, orange, and red on your snowman’s scarf to make it more colorful, think about placing them in a stripe pattern!

This will also offer more variety of veggies. If you aren’t a fan of olives you can use sliced mini cucumbers into circles for the eyes and mouth or even use some grapes if you want to stick with that particular darker shade. If you want to create a larger snowman but don’t want to overkill with the cauliflower you can add some mushrooms, sticking with the white color scheme while offering yet another veggie!

Personally, the more veggie options the better! Cherry tomatoes, snap peas, and even radishes would make excellent additions. For crackers you can use any type, they usually have festive shaped crackers available in stores around the holiday season! Maybe slice up some cheese and offer alongside your snowman veggie tray as well! Don’t be afraid to get creative with your snowman!

Finding the Perfect Dip

Selecting a dip that’s perfect for your Snowman veggie tray should be a simple task. You can make your own or buy a type of dip, classic ranch is always a winning choice. Stores offer many types and you can even consider having a few selections to offer guests.

A great way to serve your dip is to slice open a pepper, clean out the seeds and put your dip in it! The pepper acts as a bowl and guests can eat it after! Saving on dishes and adding a more creative touch everyone will appreciate. It’s a win-win!
