We suggest still making your own frosting as that doesn’t take long at all and you can get the color you desire this way. There is always the option of buying frosting in a can and adding green coloring to it. If you choose to make your own frosting make sure you buy some candies or sprinkles to decorate. Brownie Bites Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ¼ cup oil
  • Frosting Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 TBS milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • Star sprinkles

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a mini muffin pan and set aside.

2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

3. Add eggs, butter, and oil and mix until well incorporated.

4. Spoon a tablespoon of brownie batter into each cup of your mini muffin pan.

5. Bake for 10-13 min until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

6. Using a butter knife, loosen the sides of the brownies and turn the pan over on a cooling rack to get brownies out of the muffin cups.

7. For the frosting, whip butter and powdered sugar with an electric mixer.

8. Add in milk and vanilla and whip until well incorporated.

9. Add green food coloring until you have reached the color desired.

10. Load a piping bag with 1M tip and green frosting.

11. Once brownies are completely cooled, pipe small swirls on the top of the brownies to make a Christmas tree.

12. Add a yellow star sprinkle to the top. Enjoy!
