Easy and Quick Christmas Baking Idea

These come together so easily, just about anybody could make them at home! Traditional cinnamon rolls take a little bit of practice; forming them isn’t always easy and sometimes things can go awry if you’re a newcomer to the baking world. Luckily, these cinnamon roll inspired Christmas tree treats just take a little bit of forming and before you know it, you’ve got yourself a fun and delightful dessert you can serve up at a moment’s notice!

We recommend making these ‘fresh’, or throwing them in the Air Fryer just before you intend to serve them. Why’s that? The incredible sweet cinnamon aroma that comes off of these things is quite literally the icing on the cake, filling the house with holiday cheer for those guests with a sweet tooth! Since there’s virtually no prep involved, you can easily form and set them in the Air Fryer right after dinner if you like.

Suggestions for Making Your Cinnamon Rolls

You can use basically any type of candy out there to decorate your trees as well, try buying a bunch of different candies to have so your kids can really use their imaginations and decorate them however they wish. (M&M, skittles, peppermint candies, the list goes on). Another great idea if you aren’t a huge fan of candies or sprinkles is simply using other colored icings. Using icing pens or food coloring you can create many different colors and draw on ornaments, garland, or just go wild! Endless fun can be had while decorating these.

You can make the cinnamon buns the night before and let the kids decorate the morning as well to save some time and to allow plenty of cooling time. Making a fun activity out of them while you start on the big Christmas feast!
