Other Tips for Making the Perfect Valentine’s Day Themed Kids’ Charcuterie Board

Obviously you can place any fun Valentine themed candy on your board, as long as you know the allergies of other children. If you plan to bring it to a classroom you can put pretty much anything!

If you have some baking on hand definitely throw that in, add some fun nuts if you can, and you can even add a few little toys or fun valentine play jewelry to it for some fun! Stroll down the candy aisle and go nuts!

If you plan to make this board with your kids, get them to pick out what they want! They will have an absolute blast picking their treats!

How to Put Your Board Together

If you can find a large heart plate consider using that! If not a classic Charcuterie wooden board with some nice heart parchment paper in the background or just a red or white board will look very nice.

You can also consider making more than one board if each kid wants to make their own or they have different likes. The possibilities on how to create your board are really endless!

Once you’ve created your board, plan a fun evening with your kids if you are making it for home, put on a movie, make them a special Valentine drink to go with it, and just enjoy being together!

  • 6-7 Valentine’s Day Chocolate Sprinkle Pretzel Rods
  • 2 cups Valentine’s Day Chocolate and white chocolate Pretzels
  • ½ cup Valentine’s Day Jelly Candy Hearts
  • 8-10 Valentine’s Day Mini Sprinkle Brownies
  • 4-6 Valentine’s Day Loft Sugar Cookies
  • 101-2 Valentine’s Day Red Foil Chocolate Hearts
  • ½ cup Valentine’s Day Sour Heart Jelly Candy
  • ½ cup Valentine’s Day Heart Jelly Beans
  • ½ cup Valentine’s Day Conversation Hearts
  • ½ cup Valentine’s Day Sour Conversation Hearts
  • 3-4 Valentine’s Day Little Debbie Chocolate Snack Cakes
  • 3-4 Valentine’s Day Little Debbie Strawberry Snack Cakes
  • 5-6 Valentine’s Day Chocolate Hearts for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Place your large heart candy dish in the center of the board.
  2. On your board place your ramekins filled with candy in separate corners of the board.
  3. Now place your larger items in separate places on the board.
  4. Add the remaining items in various places on the board to fill in the blank spots.
  5. Garnish with your chocolate hearts.
  6. Have fun and enjoy!
