These ideas are perfect for setting up an epic scavenger hunt (you could spell someone’s name with birthday presents, for example!).
They are also exactly what you need if you do an “alphabet grab gift exchange.” It’s a fun twist on a family gift exchange, or perfect for an office secret Santa exchange.
How to Hold an Alphabet Grab Gift Exchange
Do you come from a big family?
Do you draw names each year for Christmas presents?
Add some spice to your gift exchange by drawing a letter, or letters!
The easiest way to do this is by using a set of scrabble or bananagram tiles.
Simply assign someone to draw a letter, then declare that all gifts that year need to start with that letter.
It adds a creative flair and opens up the door to a whole lot of teasing, “it’s a stretch to call that a Red baseball cap; I think it only counts as a B or a C!”
However you choose to celebrate, here are our gift ideas for every letter of the alphabet!
Note: We also have a list of Toys that Start with Every Letter, organized by age group.
